The First Annual Pre-Health Conference is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th, 2021.
The University of Iowa Pre-Health Conference will provide students with an opportunity to network with current health professionals, explore career options, and obtain information to help them succeed in the health-professions school admission process. This conference will serve as a platform for direct contact between students, deans of admission, admissions officers, faculty, staff, and current health professionals from a variety of health professional programs and organizations.
The conference will be open to all students regardless of status and affiliation. It will be advertised to students residing at hundreds of university and college campuses around the nation. Preliminary expectations vary from a few hundred to a couple thousand attendees.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a range of health professions, such as allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, dentistry, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, and more!
